John Campbell represents developers and landowners in the areas of land use, planning and zoning, and general real estate law. He helps his clients navigate the regulatory maze involved in improving real property. He coordinates with local governments, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Department of Community Affairs, and the St. Johns River Water Management District. He has experience with Developments of Regional Impact, Comprehensive Planning, Rezoning, and Concurrency issues. Prior to joining Pappas Metcalf Jenks & Miller, John was an officer in the United States Air Force for over six years. During his years in the Air Force, he served in a variety of positions culminating in an assignment where he was responsible for the development and acquisition of new command and control computer systems.
